Who is MSSO
The Medical Social Service Organization (MSSO) of the Greater Birmingham area is a charitable non-profit membership organization of social workers, nurses and other healthcare professionals.
When is MSSO
MSSO meetings are held the third Thursday of each month from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. The meeting location and the topic of discussion vary with host agency arrangements for lunch and meeting speaker. Social Work and Nursing continuing education credits are given at each meeting.
Our Mission
MSSO gives all proceeds from membership dues (after meeting operating expenses) to local special needs charities at the end of each calendar year.
